# Know the word. Find the record.

The situation

You want to look up a name, a product claim or a word from the visit. Start with the file that answers that question.

Keep the drug record, the license record and the insurance answer as separate checks.

FDA is the federal drug agency: the Food and Drug Administration.

Nurse complaints go through the Secretary of State's licensing office; pharmacy complaints go to the pharmacy board.
